A software utility is designed to automate the management of Taxware® sales tax exemption certificate data.

Management of sales tax exemption certificate data is a time consuming process. TaxAutomation STEP Utility was designed to reduce the amount of time required to manage exemption certificates for the Taxware® SALES/USE Tax System. This utility is designed to be used on an on-going basis as well as during initial TAXWARE implementation.

Daily/Weekly Utilization. The Taxware® STEP system can require extensive manual intervention to load exemption certificate data. For example, the Taxware® STEP system requires the user to separately enter certificate information for each state, even though the information for each state is the same. TaxAutomation's STEP Utility automates this process and saves you a significant amount of manual input time during this process.

TAXWARE Implementation. The initial TAXWARE implementation process requires the transfer of all exemption certificate data from a legacy system into TAXWARE. This is time consuming as mentioned in the previous paragraph. The TaxAutomation STEP Utility automates the transfer process and saves time. If you save time you save money.

The TaxAutomation STEP Software Utility requires two billable days (estimate) of initial custom configuration and training time by a TaxAutomation consultant when purchased by an end user for daily use or implementation.
