Do you need to link the Taxware® Sales/Use Tax System to Vertex® Returns Sales Tax Returns Q Series™ Link?


The TaxAutomation Link was designed to convert the Taxware® audit file into the Vertex® Sales Tax Returns Q Series™ import format. This program is typically used once a month and will save the average user significant manual processing time. The "TaxAutomation Link" is a very easy to use, stand alone, independent utility that:

• Reads the Taxware® audit file (leaving the Taxware® audit file unchanged)
  
• Automatically produces a Vertex compatible (converted and pre-formatted) file that is ready for direct import into your Vertex Sales Tax Returns package.

Special features:

• The Link will summarize transactions by jurisdiction and company (or division) and then create a file that can be directly imported into the Vertex tax return system.
• The user has the option to consolidate companies (or divisions) onto one or more tax returns.
• The reconciliation report is used to reconcile the Taxware® Tax030 report to the actual tax returns generated by Vertex® Sales Tax Returns Q Series™

TaxAutomation will configure your Link using the Vertex® Sales Tax Returns Q Series™ specifications that were provided as part of your Vertex implementation. The TaxAutomation Link typically requires 2 to 5 days of installation, custom configuration and testing time by a TaxAutomation consultant. Complex users may require additional time.
